Kairos Shift LLC is a spiritual care, counseling, and coaching service for individuals, families, and communities who are moved and convinced that NOW is the best and promising time to engage in transformational change.
Kairos is not a psychotherapy practice, nor its replacement. Instead, spiritual counseling here offers to address 3 major areas of your life with you:
- Meaning, purpose and direction
- Self-worth and belonging
- Connection and reconciliation
You need not identify as religious, but you must be willing to explore your own inner resources as you discover what you may want to incorporate into your life as you encounter or re-encounter it.

At Kairos Shift, we believe in affordable, just, and sliding scale pricing to best achieve support for you. Our goal is to support your journey towards true transformation without any hidden costs.
All sessions are virtual by default, but in-person sessions are also offered with an additional $0.70 per mile for travel.

Meet Our Founder, CEO, and Provider
The Rev. Edwin Pérez Jr., M.Div.
The Rev. Edwin Pérez Jr. is a passionate and innovative faith leader with expertise in spiritual care, coaching, and consulting for individuals and communities. As a graduate of Yale University with a Master of Divinity degree and faith leader of over 10 years, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Kairos Shift. Edwin currently works at Griffin Hospital, Derby, CT, as a Chaplain--where he also leads support groups in Intensive Outpatient Programs, admitted patients, and tends to a variety of situations involving emergencies, crisis intervention, and grief counsel. Edwin has one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education, and currently is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Boston University. His empathetic approach and deep understanding of spiritual needs empower clients to embrace change and foster personal growth. Edwin founded, created, and provides care through Kairos Shift because he believed in the unique transformation that a non-anxious presence and collaborative partnership could do for persons of any faith or religious identity.
